A Lot To Love at TPS!

Many of you know that The Piedmont School is near and dear to my heart. I have been lucky to be a part of the amazing TPS family since 2009 and have watched our wonderful school grow in so many ways. I started my time at TPS teaching and during that time learned what a truly special place this is and what a unique environment this is for students with attention deficit disorders and language based learning differences.

Over the years I have left the classroom at TPS to continue helping our school grow from my role as a member of the TPS Administration. I have watched the addition of our amazing high school program, The John Yowell Academy, bring a new dynamic to our school and turn our once transitional school into a destination school that our students find all they need to be academically successful in.

We have nearly tripled our enrollment in my ten years at TPS and we are officially launching public fundraising efforts to expand our campus. We have amazing plans to add a gymnasium, two science/tech labs, a new dining/lobby area, a stage for productions, and new parking.

This Valentine's Day, The Piedmont School and John Yowell Academy is hosting a One Day To Give Campaign with the fundraising goal of raising $14k on the 14th. I have made a personal goal to try and raise $500 towards these efforts.

I would love for you to consider donating any amount to our amazing school. I have watched the quality of individualized education we are able to provide change lives for so many families in the Triad area. I have watched children who felt they "couldn't" learn that they can. I have seen the lightbulbs turn on and the tears of joy. And now, I would love to see our students have the facilities they need and deserve to keep these amazing opportunities thriving.
